If UNI, New Mexico (against Washington), BYU (KSU), etc. can get in, it would be a great March Madness.

Do we accept that if Cornell wins and joins UNI, etc. in the Sweet 16 that the BCS basketball schools might join their football brethern in their own tournament so they can control who gets in and who advances.
This is 2006 re-visited and the power-mongers won't stand to be kicked out of their own party, will they?

Remember years ago when the term "parity" became vogue with the change in scholarship rules. The "stated" hope of the NCAA was that this rule change would help bring balanced competition across the board. We all know the NCAA didn't want true parity across the masses, but we have slowly seen it over the years. And like this year, also in 2006, we are really enjoying watching the little guy get its due...stay tuned...we aint seen nothin yet!!!

Cornell is bending over Wisconsin right now.
These 4-loss teams such as UNI and Cornell may have not played the toughest schedules and may not be in the most elite conferences, but they're good. That's why they only have 4 losses. They can't help it that no one good will play them.
The NCAA instead underseeds them making them look like monumental upsets when in fact, it's just good basketball teams winning.
UNI a 9 seed?
Cornell a 12 seed?
Way ta go with those ones NCAA.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I looked at some older stuff and found on the March 19 Blog by Pat Forde the following:
We could have Duke, top seed in the South Region, dealing with a regional semifinal in Houston against fifth-seeded Texas A&M and a regional final against Baylor. It’s roughly 97 miles from College Station and 186 miles from Waco to Houston, and both schools have a significant alumni base in that city. (Maybe that’s the payback for giving Duke a region that’s only slightly more difficult than the Missouri Valley Conference.)
OKLAHOMA CITY -- I took a left out of the triumphant Northern Iowa locker room and saw the saddest sight of the NCAA tournament to date.Kansas Jayhawks Cole Aldrich and Tyrel Reed were walking down the hallway toward their locker room after doing the post-shocker news conference.
I wonder how he feels about his choice of words now. :DSome posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
