UNC getting in is a joke...and as a 4 seed is even more of a slap in the face to legit teams wanting to play in the postseason. They might make a run, but they don't deserve to be here.

I do, however, like our draw. If we put it together for a nice little run, we can make some noise.

The NIT is for teams that aren't good enough for the NCAA, so yes, I am not excited about it. I would like to hope that most Shocker fans aren't geeked up about an NIT birth. If we are, then we have problems.

I'm "geeked up." I will be there. It is more basketball - and there are plenty of good teams. It's just another stepping stone in getting ready for next season. The more we play, we have more chance for improvement and exposure. Last season we weren't even good enough for the NIT.

So we are rooting for North Western and UCONN if we want to host 3 games ... that isn't impossible but beating Nevada / Northwestern and then UCONN will be damn tough.
