Ok, maybe I shouldn't include MTXE in there with his insecurity with GS. But KC accurately called out that we were a weak team with an inflated record weeks ago.

I agree MTXE we need to press and to hell with the fouls and PG depth...I think that was our difference of opinion ...but it was polite. But Ill agree now we need to press more and more. Not all game but it makes this team have to run and have to expend effort and thats the only way we got it tonight...I dont trust these kids ....they just dont get it.

Look, genius, we were a consensus pick for 5th in the league. You don't exactly go out on a limb when you play "I told you so" after we lose. So why should I apologize? I wasn't picking us to get an at large bid...After Drake I said we would win five more games all year.

I don't have a problem with the scheduling if the team would take care of business against teams they are supposed to. That's what UNI is doing, that's what top tier teams do. They DON'T play down to the level of their competition and this is definitely a big no-no when you are on the road.

When on the road, top teams raise their level of play because of already being behind the 8-ball. Being a 20-game winner will also put the proverbial bullzeye on their back and teams are going to 'get-up' for them. But this team hasn't figured that out on the road against bad teams.

It is clear this team needed to play far more difficult teams in the non-con to give them some humble pie. I'm just hoping we can remain within 15 at USU.

And you were one of the fools who bought into this 5th place prediction? Anybody with any sense knows how much stock preseason polls are worth. Gimme a freakin break.

All that matters is how a team finishes, who gives a flying 'eff' about preseason predictions. So you go ahead and feel good about proving the experts wrong with their preseason prediction. If this little moral victory gives you peace then so be it.

I think there are several of us that have questioned/disliked the non-con schedule all season long and have said so. It's just that most of us don't feel the need to antagonize others to make the point.
