Do Farleigh Dickenson and Monmouth really play each other twice in 3 days? And I thought the Valley sucked at making schedules.

Yep, they really do. And obviously there are schedules worse than Valley schedules....pretty crazy

It's not now a team of interest to us, but poor VCU. It was bad enough that they got shafted by drawing a much lower RPI team in Arkon, but tonight at home, Akron pi**ed down their leg losing to a previous 2-5 MAC record E. Michigan.

The team that got the biggest shaft has to be Cleveland State. They are a young team that really struggled this season but seemed to be on the verge of turning it around.

They have pulled their RPI up to a fairly respectable 145-150 and moved within 1/2 game of 2nd place in the Horizon league.

They got matched with 2-19 Toledo with its 315 or so RPI. Plus they have to return the game. I would not expect them to be happy campers!

Incidently, Toledo lost to Akron by 19 points a game or two ago.

Winthrop had a nice win Saturday night over first place Coastal Carolina on the road no less.... 67 to 64

wow. the ending of the drake bradley game was interesting.

both teams had a difficult time scoring for a while but for the last 20 seconds or so there was plenty of scoring.
bradley up one
guard shoots a contested jumper.
misses
then so dude that sounds like Egor tips it in.
crowds happy
drake has the ball.
they quickly go down the court and calmly go through a set and got templeton wide open for 3.
money.
tied 68-68
10 seconds left (roughly)
bradley guard lets time go down then takes a contested jumper. misses hard.
rebound goes to Egor.
Egor shoots a 12 footer awkwardly and makes it with 1.8 seconds.
Egor was the hero... which is fun to say
(drake lobbed a full court shot at the end and it missed)
the last 30 seconds or so were the only fun moments to describe.
bradley wins to hopefully keep them around the 100 RPI range.

I watched the end too. It reminded me of a play-in game in St. Louis. Little to no atmosphere and a game somebody had to not lose.

nevermind it was 65-65 then after Egors(or whatever his name is) shot it was 67-65 (final).

Both Bradley and Drake had 4 players over 31 minutes for the game. Drake's 4 averaged 34 minutes and Bradley's 35.

Texas Tech is kicking OkSt out of the gym.

35-23 with 1 minute and change left in the first half. OSU had to make a little run to get that close.
