It won't be today, but tomorrow at 5:30 on ESPNU will be a selection show. I was watching a game this afternoon and they announced it. However, the DVR says there's supposed to be a game going on at that time (No mention of it on the guide) so I just DVR'd the game that's supposed to start at 5:30.

I think the Selection Show is just for the TV games. They usually release most of the match ups beforehand, or they get posted on some website that's not ESPN.

The VCU spreadsheet has our RPI today at 49 and Sienna at 42. Anyone familiar with RPI calculation have any estimate on what our RPI will be if we win tonight?

A big game going on now is Maryland-Clemson.

Maryland is the next team up (lower RPI) from us and Clemson is also between us and Siena. They are only a couple spots from Siena.

If Clemson wins we will move ahead of maryland (assuming we win!) and Clemson will probably jump Siena, moving us at least two spots closer and a better shot at Butler.

Right now WSU is forecasted to go 6-2 in their next 8 games and will have a RPI of 47 with a record of 23-6. The two projected losses are SIU and UNI (this does not take in account of bracketbusters).

WSU RPI is projected for the following records over the next 8 games:

              8-0 25-4 RPI 31
              7-1 24-5 RPI 38
              6-2 23-6 RPI 47
              5-3 22-7 RPI 57
              4-4 21-8 RPI 69
              3-5 20-9 RPI 81

              fixed the wins totals

8-2 seems like the best-case, most realistic scenario.

                  8-2 = NIT.

Oh I think 9-1 is pretty realistic....but 10-0 could still get us NIT. Even with a RPI of 31 I could see us having to win the tournament in St. Louis to get in the Dance.

Other than to win we cant control what is being thought about us.......maybe find a little more late season chemistry and see what happens... Regardless I really like this team....sure hope the guys get a little dose of CH's can-do-attitude.

"dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

10 and 0 and we are in the NCAAs and Valley Champions, period.

It's not going to happen, but it's still nice to be able to think that way this deep in the season.

No way they would snub a 29-4 team. Hell we might be a five seed with taht record

                          I just noticed something.

You can't go 8-2 over your next 8 games..

Looks like the numbers need adjusted SB.

My above post should read 6-2.

And agreed with the undefeated thing. That would mean we swept UNI, most likely won the regular season, likely a Top 25 team, and an 11 (or 12) game winning streak headed to St. Louis.

That would be NCAA for sure. But like Doc pointed out, that's not happening.

                              Updated RPI after tonight's game:

                              Siena 43

                              WSU 48

We got a .005 bump from the SIU game, needed just .005 more to pass the Saints. Oh well, here's hoping for a nice time slot tomorrow.

UNI handled Sienna pretty easily and WSU is the only team since the start of the season to beat UNI. Not sure if that will play into the decision making but it can't hurt.
