As the players were headed to the tunnel after the game HCGM went over to the stands next to the tunnel and helped 8-10 adults
on to the court and into the tunnel with the team. Any idea who they were...I was guessing the Fahnestock family."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Yes that was George Fahnestock's older son and his wife, and some other family friends. Those were all George's seats." There's a difference between a good team and a great team "

Yes, that was a class move. I wasn't sure if GM made it to the funeral this morning, but i know dave dole, and Mike Kennedy were there. Also Craig Stevens. Lots of people were there!" There's a difference between a good team and a great team "

What a college basketball game. I mean a MAN'S game, where only men are allowed to play, on both sides.
Hats off to UNI. I'd hate to have to watch them play every game, but they work and fight and scrap and get after you and are about as prepared as a team can be. A bucket or 2 here or there and it's an entirely different story. I'll break down film before Saturday, but UNI played well and left it all on the floor. They should be proud of the effort. If the Shocks would have played with that urgency in Omaha, it would have been a 25 point game.
It was Eric that Gregg went to after the game. He also acknowledged prior to tipoff. Somewhere George is smiling tonight.
13-17 from the line. It felt like 8-20. Man it's easy to get spoiled.
I cannot tell you how badly both teams wanted this game. That was a tournament atmosphere.
It amazes me how well both teams picked small chinks in the others armour and did everything they could to exploit it.
Great game...we're in a race now.
