Cold, you're usually pretty decent in making points, regardless of whether they're right or not. This isn't the case here.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Look deeper into my comment about Hannah's minutes and you will perhaps find for yourself some unsettling questions. Or I guess you could just make a cursory analysis before you jump willy-nilly into a full blown tantrum attack.
Too late.

Originally posted by RoyalShockMTXE, had Marshall kept Hannah in during that stretch and picked up his 3rd foul, you'd blame him for that and say he screwed up and should have protected him.
We came to Omaha with a game plan to physically intimidate the Blue Jays. When it looked like the officials weren't going to tolerate that idea, 'we' didn't adapt. Do you really think Clevin is a fouling machine? Is he too dumb to receive in-game instruction on how to alter his approach with the opposition and/or the refs? A smile, a pat on the back, and a kind comment goes a long way with an official. We see how the opposite approach works (Stinnett, Jamar).
Both coaches seem pretty intense when they talk to the referees but Altman must be screaming 'I love you's' in their ears because he rarely gets jobbed by the refs. HCGM needs to read that page from Altman's book.

Since the same thing is being said on this thread as well, I'll repeat.
MTXE is not doing anything to get banned. In fact, he has a few relevant points, but places them in such riled-up styled banter, that most don't want to give it its due.
What he is doing is pulling a lot of people's chains, including mine at times. And getting some pretty big chuckles doing it!! You want to cut the snake's head off? Don't feed it!! MTXE makes a statement you consider off the wall or un-Shocker like, don't respond. Ignore it! Pretend it's not even there. Don't give him the pleasure of you're discomfort. Any retort you make, even if great, means nothing because he is oblivious to it. Consider the source and give it the time its worth. NONE!

I brought up the point that Clevin is terrible at defense and got shunned. The guy is a phenomenal offensive player, but extremely lacks with his defense. This happens when you are shorter and not as quick. Not a big deal we need to bounce back and beat UNI and everyone will forget this loss.

Why ban him?
This isn't Russia BlueJayCafe. We have the freedom to be critical here. Stalin Matty P. isn't he mod here. MTXE is just enjoying the Free World of message boards after being behind the Iron Curtain unable to access the premium board for far too long...Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

I was perusing the Valley message board (I still haven't gotten my email to activate my account; it's been two months) and noticed several comments regarding coaching (albeit with a bit less sincerity). This comment from a Shocker fan stuck out and since I can't comment on it over there, I may as well comment on it in here.
"Compare and contrast that with a 12 point win for WSU in Wichita. Was Altman out-coached 12x over in that game?"
I actually think we were out-coached in that game as well. All the Creighton fans were predicting a 20+ point loss. Creighton kept the game unembarrassing with a skeleton crew in a very hostile environment. If coaching wasn't the x factor in these two games then what was it? Do you really think the average caliber of player on Creighton's team is comparable to ours? It isn't even close.
HCGM has been out of the 'minor' leagues for two and a half years now. Altman has been coaching (and winning) at this level for 13 years currently ranking third all-time on the coaching victories list in the 99-year history of the MVC. It is not a put-down to be accused of being out-coached in your third year in the MVC by a winning veteran of 13 years.
I believe coach Marshall will eventually obtain a winning record against Dana primarily because he is such a great recruiter. As he gains experience and sharpens his coaching repertoire (especially as it pertains to opposing Dana) it will be icing on the cake.
