The thing I hate about ESPN network games is that there is often a game preceeding the Shockers' game, and 9 times out of 10 it isn't going to finish on time, and you end up missing about 1/2 of the first half. The game on Saturday is on 360, so at least for that one, we can watch online until they switch over on the telly.

I sure hope our defense can shut down P'unk. He is currently sitting at 996 points scored for his career. It sure would be nice to make him wait one more game to hit the 1,000 point plateau.

Kind of an uneasy feeling about this one...not sure why. I'm gonna predict a little bit of a let down Saturday offensively seeing how we hit just about every shot last night.

Tough place to play, and there's no denying fate, we will lose again on the road sometime. This and UNI will be the two losses I predict.

On the rebounding, it is hard to outrebound your opponents when you are shooting over 50% from the field. Doesn't leave alot of opportuinities for the offensive boards.

P'unk gets at least one technical foul.

And WSU gets a buzzer beater to win it.

They showed their poise and maturity in taking care of business. I think they will do so again against, IMHO, a less than average Creighton team.

I don't think that we come out flat in this one. We know they want revenge on us. I think Marshall will have them focused. We have jumped out to leads on them in recent past, only to have it evaporate before our very eyes. Tomorrow, I think we get that lead and know the recipe for keeping it. Business-like win for a good non-rivalry game.

sCUm and its fans are gonna be UP for this one. It's White Out Day on ESPN2 against their rival who just torched em in Wichita. They just decimated SIU on their home court so they're feeling good. Peckerwood, P'unk, and the rest of the BJ's will be juiced and jacked up. They have a chance to knock off a 16-2 team and get back to .500. Add that with our less-than-stellar history in Gomerha and things look bleak.
