Great shooting percentage, not so good FT percentage, outrebounded by ISU if the status I see hold, and most of the game our bench was outscored by their bench.

Our big guys did not play great but good enough. Thank God for Clevin Hannah.

We will need a better effort at Omaha to come home with a W, but I have QUIET CONFIDENCE that will do just that.

A disturbing trend.. which needs to change. These wins that we've been getting while being outrebounded would be 20+ blowouts if we could grab boards.

              • Toure, Clevin and Graham came up big tonight. 56 of our 84 points.

We're deep, and that will carry us a long way..

We certainly need to get our swagger back on the boards, but Garrett still being slowed by the leg injury and Gabe playing sick probably didn't help in this game.

Teams have also learned to exploit us off the dribble, which pulls rebounders out of position for help defense, so if we can adjust back to what teams are doing to us in that area (and hopefully Kenny can give us some defensive minutes in this regard), we may look a lot better on the boards.

                  • CH Player of the game. But TM's three (late in the game) as time expired is the greatest shot, I think. How about you guys? :)

Just as concerning is that Crawford, who averages 11 minutes and 3 points per game, went 21 minutes and 18 points.

                      • I've always liked Harry Marshall. A very good player. I'm surprised he had so many as I really didn't notice. What was noticeable was the Shocks were in control. A very solid road win against a team that will end up in the top 5.

                        • 5-1 in the Valley and we've played 3 of the top 5 teams on the road already.

Either CU or SIU will move into the "upper half" classification later tonight, but we've got a significant chunk of tough road games done. Well, significant for this time of the season and for being 5-1.

We'll got those points back from Crawford when he comes to Wichita..... 8)

                            • Wierd game. I'm watching the 2nd half with my wife and I was complaining about how poor we were playing, then we score 84 points on the road for the win. I think I'm getting spoiled.

                              • Overall pretty decent showing tonight. Loved the offense (although more assists would have been nice). Defense wasn't great and once again couldn't stop the dribble penetration. As always though, it's a road win and I will take it however it comes!
