I included the TX A&M game because for many it is a game of interest. I realize that it may not be a game of interest for everyone. And while LA Monroe and Sac. St will more than likely lose big, it's always nice to know when KU or K-State could get embarrassed. :)

Just an FYI, there is 1 more Valley game this Sunday the 11th as we host Missouri-St. Louis (DII) at 1pm. It's our reg. season opener, though it basically is like another exhibition game. 8) We played the same team in our exhibition game last year.

Noting some of the other "games of interest" mentioned here, Sacramento State @ K-State and McNeese State @ TX A&M...both those games shouldnt be problems for the home teams. We beat up both McNeese and Sac St last year pretty easily. Not sure what those 2 teams have back though, but FWIW Sac St had some good athletes last year.
I am a diehard Illinois State Redbird fan first, and an MVC supporter, diplomat, and ambassador of good will second.

Thanks for that! I was going to list next week's game beginning with Sunday the 11th on Sat night, so look for that!!

Also, FYI...Creighton is losing to DePaul 38-32 at half right now. I'll get this updated soon...still at work. Sorry everyone.

                  updated:

So far conference started well regardless of the opponents. Drake and Indiana St both victors to start the Valley off 2-0 for non-conference. Creighton is about to score a good win against DePaul if they don't let up and UNI gained the lead early against Northern Illinois.

Stinks that 2 of our possible opponents at Paradise Jam lost. Georgia Tech and Monmouth both losing their games.

Notes on Creighton game so far:

P'Allen Stinnet showing why CU fans were excited to get him. Leading all scorers with 23 points on 9-14 shooting (5-7 3pt). Dane Watts and Chad Millard only other 2 CU players in double digits with 10 and 13pts.

Another interesting note, DePaul is actually shooting the ball better than Creighton...(DePaul = 45.3%, Creighton = 39.7%) however Creighton has shot the ball 68 times versus DePaul's 53 shots.

Also, Creighton is lighting it up from 3 point range connecting on 42.3% of their shots (11-26)
