  • Media Day coverage from CSTV

CBS Sports features live scoring, news, stats, and player info for NFL football, MLB baseball, NBA basketball, NHL hockey, college basketball and football.

Some interesting tidbits from Doug Elgin:

    - MVC is getting $4.2 million (24 units) from the NCAA tournament. That represents 70% of their revenue this year.

    - Chicago did not respond to a bid request for the MVC tournament. KC, Omaha, St Louis and Des Moines did.

    - League expansion is not on the horizon.

Yeah that was the interesting stuff, you can catch Elgin's full "address" at www.mvc-sports.com. The GM of ESPNU also speaks during that segment.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
