This will not be an easy win. Just showing up and not making too many mistakes will not cut it. Iowa played the #3 team in the country to a draw at half, on a neutral court. Hannah, and the rest of the team, better show up prepared for a battle.

The definately played well that first half and were clearly playing "above their heads" during that first half. However, if you watched the whole game they clearly couldn't really stop Texas from doing what they wanted in most of the 2nd half and ran out of gas. The game is 2 halves.

However, if the Shox play even close to how they played last night...they will lose. I think Hannah will give them their needed spark.

another note: I don't think they will miss a beat with Hannah back simply because he's been practicing. It's not like the team forgot how to play with him...or like he forgot how to play with the team. We should see a much better game offensively...at least in terms of how the offense is ran. It'll be up to everyone else to make their shots also.

It'll be a dogfight, but I think in this case if we win we should be happy--even if it isn't pretty. Iowa isn't as bad as they've been playing lately and will likely improve. Let's just hope they don't make any big leaps in skill when playing us.

Looks like Shocks are 1 point favorites most places, although I did see one site with Iowa favored by .5

So, if WSU's score plus 43 is greater than Iowa's score, you'll say Iowa lost. Right?

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I'm predicting a loss but am hopeful for a win. I don't know if this team knows how to win yet. This game is the 'yardstick' that GM will use to gauge his work ahead of him.

Do we come back from poor play with an inspired performance or do we further solidify our glaring weaknesses that were on display Monday night?

                    Stay tuned!

No prediction here...I'll leave that to the "experts".

I'm just hoping to see the Shox leave it all on the floor tonight! It'd be nice to see them play a bit more heady as well. If that happens I think the outcome will be in our favor. So ok I guess a bit of a prediction then. ;)

                        WSU- 72

                        Iowa- 66

WSU comes back to play hard in a tough game.

Caesars, Station and MGM all have Shockers favored by 3.

Well, if you watched closely, Texas opened up their scoring in the 2nd half with Dexter Pittman, and he is a load. 6'10" and about 290 lbs.

Iowa seemed to live and die pretty much with the 3 point shot, and they did not seem very athletic. I hope we guard the perimeter better tonight.

It is a bummer that ESPNU does not have a HD station.

Excited to see Clevin. For what he brings, and for the energy and pissed off determination that his presence will then allow us to pull off the bench in Kyles.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.
