You're not the first to float that well thought out test balloon RB.

I too would have much preferred the ISU game but I think it had more to do with the timing of when the game was played (BU is perfect in that regard) than who we were playing.

    But you are spot on.

MIldly related trivia question....in the 82-83 season the Redbirds were the only team to defeat WSU in the conference season, spoiling a perfect season by stripping (some say blatantly fouling) what Shocker guard with just a second or 2 on the clock as they went for a game tying (or winning) shot? Who stripped the ball for Illinois State?

Seriously, I remember that move like it was yesterday. That was like you schooling your 3rd grade kid on a biddy goal.

Who made the layup on the last play, NOT passing to Antoine for a badly needed bucket?

Still waiting on an answer on the previous question and it WAS NOT Rick Lamb, nor was it Doug Collins as Doug is just a bit long in the tooth for that game as he was drafted in '73.

Was the gentleman wearing the 00 jersey James Carr? Antoine's older brother?

Me thinks the "variety of issues" that Antoine may or may not suffer from are not personal, but family related.

Antoine was in GREAT spirits today and I am proud for him. It is a shame we cannot get him back for more than once or twice in 28 years.

If I remember, James Carr had some bad back isssues, did he ever really play at WSU? On a related Carr note, was younger brother Henry there?

Mega dittos. I have always thought that the athletic department does a very poor job in relations with past players.

By relations, I am referring to reunions, jersey retirements, recognitions, honors for special achievements and so on.

It is a shame that players like Cheese have been treated so shabily.

Henry Carr was not present. I dimly remember James Carr playing at Hutch Juco, then transfering to WSU, where he had to redshirt due to medical issues. If he actually played, it was limited.
