I believe the game will be shown in HD in my neck of the woods – at least the game appeared on my DVR on the HD channel. I assume it would be the same in Wichita (even with different cable providers) – it is a national broadcast. But I could be wrong.

It WILL be on ESPN2 HD. I don't know if it will be broadcast in HD in the Wichita area though.

Well…you are making me a little nervous. I set my DVR to ESPN2 HD. The game had better be broadcast on that channel – HD or not. I don’t watch much TV, so I am sure exactly sure how this works.

But if I miss one of my (very few) opportunities to actually watch WSU, I will not be a happy camper.

I don't know about cable...but on my Dish it will still be broadcast on ESPN2 HD even if it's not in HD. It will just have the black bars on the side of the screen.

A game has to be shot in HD and broadcast in HD to be viewed as HD. Otherwise it is just plain ole TV.
