Anybody remember the last few years we had football? It was hard to even give away tickets on campus. If we don't have a winning team people don't come out, ask the Wranglers, they couldn't compete with WSU for ticket sales. I'd like to have football, I just don't think it'll hapen in the near future.

There's a HUGE difference in the popularity of college football since the mid 80's.
Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
        RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

That's a very good point, but I would have to agree that people in Wichita will quickly lose interest if the team isn't winning. I guess that goes for just about any fan base though. I would definitely like to see football but not at the expense of other sports which are thriving right now.

I didn't read this topic until today, and I was really confused. Thanks for bringing it back on track, and I will agree too that he does look a little like Tiger.
