I'm with Spangler this year in that I just want to see progress and improvement. BUT ... I think we are overdue to put together a reasonably complete game on both ends of the court and there doesn't seem to be a road vs. home differential with this team at this time.
The new bench has new life and leads us to victory.
Shocks 63-59
I hope your right and I think that may be the key. We certainly need more from the new bench than we got against Drake.
I would be Shocked if we don't see a fiery Ramon Clemente. He just doesn't strike me as a guy who will easily give up.
Not sure about A. J. I would love to see him do something to earn the nickname "The Hawk".
Whether Garrett can contribute or detract is all about matchups, but his mafia feet (buried in concrete) continue to cause him big problems on defense and rebounding.
Also will we continue to see improved play from Mantas and Aaron.
This is another winnable game. I liked to see the guys show they are tired of losing and go get this one.
If anything is predictable about this year's Shocks is that their play is unpredicatable. However, I will give it a shot anyway:
The predictably unpredictable Shocks - 68
The John Q. Hammons MSU Bears - 64
