WSU @ UNI Game Thread

My 3 favorite teams to watch are the Royals, Chiefs, & the Shockers. Things are not looking very good right now for any of these teams. Does anyone know of a good shrink around here? :cry:

Any one of numerous liquor stores located in the area would be cheaper, and probably give better results.

I would just like to think that the Missouri Valley Conference would attempt to establish consistency with its officials, so that its teams are better prepared for postseason play (obviously not us) and therefore climb the ladder in the battle of conferences.

I'm pretty confident this game film will end up in the Valley offices with some comments from the WSU Athletic Department.

Who made the disputed Durley charge call? Who called the 'T' on Stutz? Gladden was the black official, Kissinger is really thin and everybody knows Higgins. Thanks. 8)

We are not witnessing season reversal. This is program reversal. I like our coach but he needs to take responsibility for this one.

No - we just don't have an inside presence right now. When we get one (most likely next year), you will see things change.

Clemente is one dimensional - rebounds - nothing else. If the box score is right, he had 10 rebounds; 6 of them offensive rebounds and ZERO points. Stutz, Ellis, Griskenas, and Durley are not bringing any consistent presence inside. Result - you have a whole bunch of guards trying to make up the difference, resulting in low shooting percentage, because the paint is no mans land for the Shox.

Stutz WILL get better, but until some PLAYERS in the 4 and 5 show up, it's going to me more frustration and disappointment.

Coy could get A LOT of playing time THIS YEAR if he decides to join us....

That was absolutely an embarrassment. I have been watching Shocker basketball for about 20 years now, and that was the single worst performance I have ever witnessed (or at least in the top 3). The coaching is just horrific. There is no semblance of offense, and players lack any kind of motivation to play hard on defense. Just plain awful.

Do you think CU fans are calling for DA because they lost by 22? No. We got our arsess kicked in the second half. There was good offensive movement in the first half and they played good defense in the first. Yes i understand that is only 18 minutes but this is still a young team.

From the day I saw WSU's early Valley schedule, I thought it could get ugly.

I was expecting the team to start playing better together around the second half of the Valley season. The first half of WSU's Valley season is pretty brutal for a team that's struggling to establish an identity.

Our fine " SN Spin DOC" has spoken and that is all we need to know about that for now. As for FSF, I am so glad that I picked us 8th this Season. Oh wait---I guaranteed we would NOT take 8th and that is all I havvee toooo sayyy bout that baybay!!!!!!! In the meanwhile, the good Doc may need to up some of our scripts~``~!! Yikes!!!!!!! 4th is still mathmatically possible---is it not? :yahoo: Me out-- but I shall return and THAT is another guarantee!!!!!!! CU lost to a pretty good ISU team. We got demolished by a very poor UNI team. Big difference.

we blow in just about every phase of the game. I dont think we will get to double digit wins at this rate. that was classic shocker meltdown beginning at around the 6 or 7 min mark of the first half.

I believe Gladden made both of those calls SR.

I wasn't paying attention to the defensive guy on that charge, but the contact certainly occurred before the release. Our basket should not have counted. On our other half-dozen charge calls, who knows? I wonder what the record is for most charges in one game?
