People to whom we should give Thanks

Today, let us recognize Dr. John A Hopps. Often credited with inventing the pacemaker which quite possibly was responsible for allowing the father of one of our freshman to continue his outstanding work on this planet.

When you go to bed tonight, and you kiss your children goodnight, say a prayer for Bill and his continued recovery.

While you are at it, say one for Garrett and all of his friends and family. And don't forget to thank the big guy upstairs. Bill's work is far from over and with His blessings, he will continue to make the world a far better place.

My 86 year old mother recently had a pacemaker put in, and it has helped improve her quality of life.
