I made no comment on “brevity” as you put it…and you obviously don’t bother to read my “loquacious” posts political or otherwise.

The inferences were there...

Also, when I spoke of not wanting to be a forum admin because "I have a life", that was because when you start up a forum of discussion and want it to be successful, you have to be monitoring/contributing to the darn thing constantly. Ask Royal how much of a pain it is (even with his legion of admins) to keep things running smoothly.

There are times when I post often but I am nowhere near consistent.

SubGod would be a perfect person to start a new forum. He is a VERY consistent contributor!

I agree that what the initial talking about a closed practice in general isn't all that bad. The fact that you Cold claimed to just be telling about what was going on in practice was selling yourself short. You talked about it, but then infiltrated your negative-oriented opinion about it, twisting things there, adding things here, etc. If you're lucky enough to be accepted into a closed practice, you think the least you could do would be able to show the same courtesy in return, but that's where you failed. You took advantage of the situation and for that, I doubt Koch's doors will ever be unlocked on a non-gameday again.

When your new forum arrives, will you promise to upload your daily pictures and accounts of all the days' happenings, like CGM's breakfast favorites or Stutz's bowel movement cycles?

When you say blowhard are you referring to reporting a few of the things I saw at the practice or just my general internet personality? If it's the latter I will answer by saying that it is fun for me and entertaining (positively and negatively) for others.

I was referring to your general internet personality on SN. My perception is your internet persona has changed from where you were antagonizing fans of other valley schools to now your just doing it to Shocker fans.

You also seemed to have an agenda against Marshall and the present AD that doesn't seemed to be deserved at this point. Now if WSU sucks as some are saying and there is no progress in this program then have it it, but it seems a little premature at this point in the Marshall tenure.

Oh no, I certainly haven't changed. I was pissing off Shockernetters years ago. Hell, I can remember when I first started posting as CB at the beginning of the Turdge's career. I was going on and on about how sorry he was doing in 2000. If I remember correctly WuDoc and Shockref were really going after me.. personal insults etc. etc. :yahoo: Also, weren't Isaso and DaShox really pissed about Smithson's firing? I certainly was... I thought he deserved one more year.. lololololol :shock: Those were great times.

I'm just who I am, I am very honest and do not carry the shackles of political correctness and overall polite behavior (in here) that precludes us from being honest in the "real world". Some will agree with me, some will laugh with me, some will laugh at me, some will be enraged by my posts. If you can understand where I am coming from (which some people actually do) then you wont take things so personal.

Let me get this straight. The basketball office threatens to close practice unless Shockernet pulls Cold's blog.

If so, this sounds thinned skinned from the basketball office. I can't believe the basketball office is worried about what is posted on Shockernet.

First: Cold has no blog/forum, not that I'm aware of - certainly shockernet is not one, nor is it an unrestricted pulpit for any of us.

Second: Practice has always been closed, though not rigorously policed with extra personnel - allowing individuals the opportunity to "sneak-a-peek" at practices.

Third: Cold's rants on shockernet that admittedly, at least on occasion, are intended to only create turmoil (potentially damaging in a legal sense?), and one in particular seemed to border on what one might consider legal slander? Possibly involving shockernet, including incurring potential legal costs that would have to be born regardless of the validity of the charges?

Fourth: The “injured party” registers a complaint, and Royal responds in a manner consistent with both journalist integrity, and common sense.

Fifth: Cold and a few others are incensed that shockernet will not defend their erroneous “unbridled right of free speech” view? And actually think they have what it takes to set up and operate a forum of their own?

Finally: HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA, you guys crack me up!! Go for it!
