A question regarding radios in the Arena (for anyone who would be kind enough to respond): I have always wanted to use a radio in the arena, but the reception was either crappy or nonexistent. Anyone who has had luck with being able to listen before and during the game, I would appreciate knowing what to purchase.

I figure since I'm damn near 40 this season I will break down and get a headset. I will buy one for my father-in-law as well, my wife won't complain about my fashion mistake since "Daddy" has one too. :)

Go for the earbuds, your wife will "like" them better.
Try using the bud in the ear opposite from her, that way you can hear every insightful word she says.“Talk low, talk slow and don't say too much.”

What are you doing to get ready for Shocker Basketball???
I am taking stock of all my Shocker gear and making sure it is clean.
I check Shockernet multiple times a day even though it is basically dead.
I got an Official Shocker Basketball mug from Jock's and Jills.
We have a Yorkie in the family, and we got him a black Shocker shirt for him to wear from Jocks and Jills. It is like having a little Wushock running around.... LOL
I have my Shocker basketball mounted on a base on my PC table.
I put a Basketball background on my PC.
And the 25th can not get here soon enough ...

We will get our first hints to the answers to some questions:
Can Durley play D? How do Stutz and Durley D up against each other?
Does Stutz have any kind of vertical?
Can anyone other than Hatch hit from 3?
How is Griskenas coming along?
Is Stutz (at this stage of his career) foul-prone or timid when it gets physical down low? I don't mean to imply that those are the only 2 options.
How much quicker has Hatch gotten?
Does Durley still think he should be jacking up 3's?
How quick and athletic are Murry and Kyles?
Is there a leader for the PG spot?
Lots of questions and we won't get many answers at Shocker Madness, but we will get hints and that could fuel enough debate to keep us going until the season starts. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

If I understand the plan correctly the Shocker - Drake VB game will be free of charge and, in effect, part of Shocker Madness festivities with the Fun Zone for kids opening at 5:00 pm.
My sources tell me that the length of the VB match will be inversely proportional to the size of the crowd that is in attendance for the VB match. The larger the crowd the shorter the match.
If we get a dissappointing crowd Lambo plans on throwing the first two sets and delaying the action whenever he can. Shouldn't last more than 2.5 hours.
A mega crowd and the Shockers go for the quick put away. 60 minutes should be enough for a motivated Shocker team to complete a sweep.
It is really all up to the fans.
