The guard that is being talked about at workouts that was so good must be Reggie Britton of Plano, Texas whom the Eagle says is walking on.

But I thought MVC Champs said he overheard Marshall "offer a scholarship" to the recruit.

But MVC Champs said he heard Marshall on the PHONE offering a scholarship, and the recruit accepted, and thought he heard the name 'Gabe" mentioned.

Sorry, you guys are right. My second goof in as many days. Maybe I should just stop posting (or just remember accurately what I read).

I believe he also heard the words Conference USA and averaging 23 minutes per game.

Gabe Blair- Was in town for a visit last week, but no reports on him being at a pickup game. At a pick up game later on, Marshall was overhead on the phone offering him a scholarship and accepting.

Reggie Britton- According to the Eagle, he has been participating in pickup games and is going to be a walk on. We have had interest in him for a while. It has been stated that he must be the unknown player in a pickup game wearing Maroon shorts that looked good.

As far as the pickup games, it might help identifying the players if one knew their previous School's colors.....

They started around 5 PM. GM told me in his office that they get thru with weight training around 4:30 PM. Orupke was there practicing his offensive moves around a basket around 4:30 PM and the rest showed up gradually. Paul Miller started with one group & played well but sprained his ankle on a dash towards the basket when a guard tripped him up. There is a lot of talent out there! Young, but with great potential.

There are camps the rest of the week that I believe end at 5pm. So doors should probably be open a little later. If it rains today, I'll be headed out to watch.

I have never gone so ignore my stupididnessesses? Will the outside doors be open or do you get in some other way, and you said they start about 5 or so and go till when?

The outside doors normally are locked at 5. But with a camp going on they should be open a little later. I'm not sure how late they go. I suppose it depends on the day.

This week's camp goes until 5:15, Tuesday through Friday. My 8-year old and I will probably try to catch a game when I pick him up.

I think Kenny Manigault is supposed to be here for the camp on Saturday. Not sure if he has anything to do with the one going on this week.

Kenny was the one mentioned by name, but weren't other recruits suppose to be here as well for the camp? It will be interesting to see if we offer anyone by next week.

I noticed Kenny is attending a lot of camps, unofficial visits per se, on his own dime. I doubt he would be doing it if he didn't have a true interest in the school(s).

I was just over at the beginning of camp and noticed that Jay Couisnard is one of the leaders. Does anyone know where he is going after leaving Evansville?
