Wendell would drain just about everything he shot over the summer. I remember being quite impressed. Wherever he goes, I hope he has a good SR year.

Pin, 28 straight threes? Are you positive he actually worked out with them?

I'd be in the arena sometimes in the evenings around the time they'd be finishing practice and there'd always be a couple that would stay after with a coach and a manager and they'd do shooting contests, first to make 15 from each wing and first to make 5 at the top of the key, and Wendell would actually win a lot of them. They'd always be shooting with the likes of Graham, Gal, PJ, Matt (when healthy), Mantas (when healthy), JT, and Lance.

An impeccable source said 28. I was shocked. I didn't think Kobe could make 28. Didn't figure Wendell could make 3 in a row.

I have been with Sub at pick up games in the summer. Last summer before the season started, we went to watch one day. Wendell was money. We saw 3 or 4 games and I am not sure he missed. He was hitting 3's and not even hesitating. I remember saying to him that if Wendell was playing like this, he might see quite a bit of PT; then the season came along and he reverted to old form

For Wendell's sake, our game-day attire should of been black t-shirts with an empty seat printed on front.

Actually, I made a rather awkward reference to the disparity between practice accuracy and game accuracy.

As you know, Knoblauch was a very fine infielder until some wires became crossed. Thereafter, he could not hit the first baseman's glove even if it was the size of a #3 wash tub.

                              You're kidding me...Wendell is leaving?

I thought he'd be sticking around because it's the right thing to do.

Who would have thunk it...Wendell is leaving.

Good luck and best wishes, young man.
