At any rate, the one and only component you referenced with your "teammate" quote is my issue here.
Maybe your world is different than mine, but I choose not to be associated with others who partake of illicit drug use.
The compounding of SO's various life choices were his downfall with WSU and his teammates, not just the one particular thing that you think I'm harping on, nor just the one particular thing that you are warming over.
His junior year here, something definately happened. I don't have the stats infront of me, but I remember him sitting on the bench alot the last several games. And his shooting percentage was in the tank the last part of the season and there was no effort on offense or defense.
Hopefully a change in schools will allow him to regain control of his life and play like he did his first couple of seasons here.
Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.
Yes, Ogirri's ability to hit outside shots would have helped. But his poor D, weak passing and lack of playmaking ability would have still hurt. I'm not sure how much he would have really helped. And he wouldn't have helped make up for the lack of a PG when Matt was out. He could be just as frustrating as Gal could.
Sean had his issues for sure. There's no denying that. I'm not sure he had the confidence in his game to be more than what he was. He, for the most part, avoided the weight room even though everyone knew he had to get stronger. He appeard to not want to develop his game further.
He also appeared to be on the lazy side of things. I'm sure he wasn't actually as lazy as he seemed but I'm sure more effort could have been given. JT Durley reminded me a lot of Ogirri this year.
With all that said, I hope Wyoming was the right choice for Sean and that he has a good year and has straigtened himself out. But WSU was probably better building towards the future with the likes of Aaron Ellis.

You and I both know that is not what we're talking about here. So stop trying to throw out this red herring.
Was it an issue? Yes. Is that what I'm talking about when I speak of the "rumor" that you were referring to? No. And you know this.

Just my take. Something we call an "opinion".
I'm not warming over anything. I'm sticking to my assertion that you were trying to be cute and bring up the 'rumor'. When I called you out on it, you tried to say you were talking about something else. And now you're trying to say I said something that I didn't. You think you're being clever, but far from it. Just like using stupid pictures to try and prove a point, your techniques have been around since the dawn of man, and on internet forums since their inception. Transparent.
Own up to it.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.
“I made my decision to leave when Coach (Turgeon) left,” Ogirri said. “The new coaching staff said I would play a lot, but I felt it was a little iffy. I just felt like I needed a fresh start.”
Translation; HCGM said he could stay and play if he was willing to work harder than he ever had, not Sean's strongpoint. I agree, his new situation is good for him. Good riddance to his "Entourage," however.
Other than the Seton Hall NCAA game, my favorite game Sean played was the away game @ Mason when they hung their banner. One of the great performances from outside the arc I have seen in person in recent Shocker History (except for a game or two by Mr. Cundiff). 5-12 including 5-9 from 3 and 4-4 from the line. Made our long trip there to see that game a pleasure and made the crab taste even better. I'll try to always remember Sean in that way.
(The other great memory was sitting a couple seats from Denzel Bowles. Was really excited about the possibility of seeing him in a shocker uni. )
*When you made reference to "salty" characters, I presumed you were talking about his drug use and the associated social circle.
*The issue that you think I'm trying to be funny and secretive about is nothing more than SO's widely-accepted "rumor" of impropriety with certain females associated with his teammates.
Does this break it down to a fundamental level enough that we don't have to continue talking in circles about issues we disagree on? I tried to do this very action through my previous post, but I guess it didn't take.
Good fricken' grief!
I don't have the time in my workday to continue debating implied or expressed meanings with you. If you don't like the content of this current post then feel free to flame away, or not post anything at all.
Ogirri was mad cause HCGM wasnt gonna let wear his flashy yellow shoes to draw attention to himself
Was that a problem to you during the Sweet 16 run?
My, how people can turn so fast. Not surprising here though.
Actually, I'm giving newshock a pass on this one. I, too, read it as sarcasm. No one is trying to diminish SO's contribution to our Sweet 16 run. The next year was more than forgettable.
