So basically the same thing as the selection committee except it’s a group of people.

Ask potential recruits if it matters.

Ask Gregg Marshall if it matters.

              lol, such dumb logic.

The day TV networks, newspapers, websites, etc stop putting those funny numbers next teams is the day you can say it doesn’t matter.

How come you came into a meaningless thread that you care little about anyway?

              • It matters to recruits.

                It matters to coaches.

It matters to the selection committee.

It's a wonder it shouldn't matter to fans.

I thought the selection committee used RPI more than polls and then also used the RPI to determine how many top 50 wins a team had. I heard they were going to used other things more, such as Kenpom, etc.

The selection committee uses whatever crap they can throw at the wall and get the media to go along with in order to select the teams they want. Like the polls, it's a popularity contest. Like the polls, both need reformed for fairness and accountability.

A team with a marginal tourney resume that spent all season in the Top 25 is much more likely to get into the tourney than a team with a marginal tourney resume that spent all season convincing themselves polls don't matter.

With his privilege of being a voter also comes accountability. Seems more strange to me those who shrug their shoulders and not question.

Probably just reminding them how it really doesn’t matter.

Polls, RPI, kenpom, seeding... pffft... who needs to think about nonsense like silly numbers and stuff. Just play the game. That’s all that matters.
