  • Preseason interview with Head Coach Gregg Marshall

HCGM was gracious enough to sit down and answer a few questions.

He talks about the new guys, and their roles for this year. We discuss his routine prior to tip-off, his past 9 years at Wichita State, and what his 10th season holds in store.

Good stuff. Fun to think, in my opinion, our two most talented players are underclassmen...

"Damnit... here we go again" - rest of the valley, probably.

I don't think any knowledgeable poster will dispute this statement.

At the Missouri State game that put us at 31-0, I sat a few rows infront of some Bears fans. At the starting line ups after Fred and Ron were called, I heard a highly dejected "Sophmores?! Damn it."

I expect the same in regards to McDuffie and Shamet.

31-0 is a mighty big expectation.

              except Shamet is a freshman

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I'm of the mind we will be an explosive offensive machine this year. Coach will be preaching defense defense defense and that's all well and good of course...but I'm anticipating some WOW moments on the offensive end.

Love how Coach reiterates the quality of the individual we have representing the University. Great, talented, athletic students...who also happen to be great individuals as well. One of Coaches strengths is analyzing a person's level of integrity as well as degree of talent.
