I just hope it's not one of those days where we gain a lot of votes but end up 5 votes out of #25, dead even with the team that got in/stayed in, but still just outside. I'd rather just squeak in there this week and never look back. If we are about to round off 6 or 7 more wins, which we should, I'd like the climbing to start now rather than next week.

Some folks think being ranked in the Top-25 doesn't mean that much. Others say it does matter. I tend to believe it do matter. Especially to recruits and "air-time". Predicting we break in tomorrow. Go Shocks!!!

My guess is zero without doing the research. We probably won't be ranked come selection sunday if we lose between then and now though, in my opinion.

MSU has never been ranked in the AP Poll. It is an incredible feat.

In the sea of AP Poll ineptitude that is the MVC generally, MSU is the lone school to have never seen their name listed.

The Committee knew they were going to catch hell for putting 4 MVC teams in. MSU would have been #5. Absolutely no doubt they deserved a bid. Terrible, terrible luck that SIU won the auto bid, and Bradley reached the Finals. That was about the only way they could miss out, and it happened.

A snub if ever there was one.

Our raw point total is going to increase significantly, but it looks like the clustering will be pretty tight at the cutoff. I think we'll just barely sneak in.
