  • FINAL 4 PREDICTIONS

What teams do you think will make the Final 4 this Season and then win it all? Here is my fearless predictions with a tie-breaker in the Final game. Please tell us before the Sweet 16 games begin.

North Carolina beats KU (barely but this could be KU's year)

UCLA beats Memphis ST. (Memphis not good enough on free-throws)

North Carolina 77----UCLA 70 in the Championship Game
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

    UNC looked real good today...

My guess is that Memphis wins the whole thing. My guesses are usually wrong. ;-)
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I really don't want them to win. I don't like their players attitudes.

So I'll cheer for Davidson, even though they don't have a prayer.

Her's the deal. Here are some sleepers that could squeak in. Louisville looked mighty fine today. Wisconsin, Tennesse, and Stanford all impressed me as of late. Texas is not chopped liver.

I've said it before--I'm no KU fan. However, they are playing like a team and playing better than any team I've seen in awhile. I would be extremely suprised if they didn't make the final four, and probably wind up in the championship game.

I would LIKE to see at least ONE mid-major in the final four--Davidson would be awesome. I love pulling for the little guy.

I second that, my friend. I'm pulling for Xavier out of the West region. I think they have the best chance. I think Kansas is going to roll now. The East region looks like the toughest. Any of the teams left there could make the Final Four. I like Texas in the South region.

I was watching ESPN on Friday and a guy said that out of 3.5 million brackets submitted to them, after the first round games were over, only 25 brackets were still perfect. Just goes to show you how difficult it is to predict these games.

Here is my Final 4, has been since the brackets came out last Sunday:

KU, Michigan State, Tennessee and UCLA.

                  KU/UCLA in the Finals.

                  KU wins.

If I had to choose I'd go with KU, UNC, Tex, Xavier. With KU beating Texas in the Championship game. KU is loaded, can play inside and out, and are playing quite well at the moment.

If KU had any year to choose from to win it all, it'd have to be this year. Any team that appears to be a challenge to them is losing, and they have such an easy route to the title game. If they somehow don't win it all, it would be sorta fun to see how much criticism Self gets.

How would possibly facing Big Ten champ Wisconsin and everyone's #1 North Carolina be an easy road to the title game? No argument that 16/8/12 is a nice path to the Elite Eight, but Villanova is a respectable team and after that there will only be tough games.

Most KU fans will be disappointed with anything less than a Final Four. Stupid fans might be irritated with Self if KU doesn't win it all., but the rational ones realize we've had a great year.

When you get to the 16 it's pretty much the cream of the crop and there isn't much chaf left.

KU isn't much different than any other #1 seed but you do have to admit, as an example, that T A&M brought a lot more to the table as a threat to UCLA than either UNLV did or Villanova can.

I had KU, UNC, TU & UCLA in the F4 and little has happened to make me change my mind.

A potential KU v UNC semi looks to be about as entertaining a matchup as we've seen in quite some time.....that is assuming that you don't despise both programs (like me) in which case you may opt for something a little more fun like shaving your head with a cheese grater while chewing on tin foil (my personal favorite).

I have Louisville beating UNC...so hopefully I don't have to meet this fate.
