Just going to point out that WSU's dominance against the Valley over the last 4 years is true across the board except against UNI. I wonder how every starter's stats look when playing UNI over their career. I have a feeling that there are some other poor individual performances other than Evan's specifically against UNI. But that's just a guess, it'd be nice to see it though.

I dont think any player, based on statistics, should be hard to replace. No one put up gawdy numbers, iirc. So, to single out Wessel is just a bit unfair in my opinion. If Shamet matches Baker or FVVs numbers next year, does that mean they were replaced easily?

Say what you want about the intangibles of Evan, but to compare his stats to Fred's is just not fair. Fred's numbers may not have been gaudy under your definition, but he averaged 12+ points a game, 38% from 3, 81% from the free throw line, 3.2 rebounds (which, is more than Evan averaged his senior year), 5.5 assists with only 1.5 turnovers a game, and nearly two steals, all in one of the slowest paced teams in the country. Evan's stats don't touch those numbers. If Landry does that next year as a redshirt freshman, then I guess he was replaced "easily" because we happened to replace him with another all-american.

I understand. You said you didn't think "any player, based on statistics, should be hard to replace." I'm saying, Fred's numbers are going to be really, hard to replace. Evan's? Less so.

Like I said, argue about intangibles, but from a stat-perspective, Fred has been unreal for three years. We aren't going to have a player average Fred's stat line next year (at least with his shooting percentages and turnover rates).
