i heard this live while in the car. i looked briefly for a podcast of the exchange, but couldn't find the moments on the show i wanted. Essentially the host got a tweet back about how WSU was over and no one in Kansas cares about them and I think there was some reference to the flagship. Regardless, the host fired back, paraphrasing, "I worked 10 years in KC and am very familiar with the KU arrogance of this reply. KU thinks they are better than K-State, and Missouri and especially WSU. Well guess what? WSU, after throwing rocks at you for years, got a chance to play you thanks to the NCAA. And what happened? They kicked your ass. A 78-65 beat down. So just shut your arrogant trap." It was epic and sounded like it could have come from one of our resident trash talkers---(insert your favorite here)

Awesomeness! Had a discussion on facebook with a KU honk. I explained to him that life is really much more than basketball. As a business owner part of my job is to evaluate talent as it relates to my business. I told him, that when a resume crosses my desk indicating the applicant has graduated from The University of Kansas, that I indeed give it preferential treatment.
