How come they only showed Oklahoma's introductions, and it was 100% the Buddy Heild show leading up to the game? Is the broadcast regionalized or did Nova just get the complete shaft?

What channel did you watch? TNT was the OU feed, TruTV was the Nova feed and TBS was the national feed

I suspect the great majority of the country will be rooting for North Carolina. They are no doubt still a valuable commodity in many brackets. Syracuse not so much.

We had the record since March 20, 1965. We scored 89 and 82 points in our 2 FF games that year and lost by 19 and 36. Must have been a lot of freedom of movement.

Not sure you should count the 3rd place or consolation game which they wisely got rid of many moons ago. That team was truly a miracle team to even make the FF considering Dave's eligibility ran out at the semester and if Nate Bowman had not been academically ineligible.

Absolutely. That's why a Big 12 team lost to perennial power Yale in the first round, and 3 other Big 12 teams lost to
non P-5 schools UNI, Butler, and Stephen F. Austin.

I think the best outcome is Syrexcuse loses and gets no further reward on the season, while No. Schoolina gets its win vacated.

You'll have to talk to the people at CBS about that. They put it on the screen and I doubt that any other fans would care that it was in a now defunct 3rd place game.
