Someone in their 50's who leaves 5 minutes early is less of a fan than a 40 year old leaving 2 minutes early etc.. No bonus points for spending the night. Completely on the honor system. Maybe we can do badges?
    BADGES?

Opps...there are also those people that leave Shocker games early...and those who don't. I personally would, under no circumstances, leave a game early. I once brought a friend of mine to a game, because my wife couldn't go. It was a blow out victory and at the final media timeout my friend said "game, set and match...let's go." I stood up reached in my pocket for my keys, placed them in his hand and said "I will see you at the car." My friend needless to say stayed by my side until the end of a 30-point spanking.

I don't judge one way or another. The people that leave early pay through the same system as I do to get in the building. If they leave early, so what. I'm sure some of them might of yelled louder than I did at some point. BFD...get off your pedestal people and complain about something that matters.
You know how some people have 'ignore' functions for some peoples' posts? I would like an ap that TELLS me you have posted something...great work!

I think the main reason to leave early is to piss off some of you people on SN, at least that's why I left when the clock hit 0:)).
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

In 1979 my wife went into labor with our first child at a Shocker game. She stayed until the end. I'm giving her a lifetime achievement award.

Alright, but that begs the question: Is your 37 year old child a Shocker fan?

Born and raised a Shocker. Played as a Shocker. Graduated a Shocker. Now lives in Tulsa but proudly wears Shocker gear down there and asked for more at Christmas. She would want me to point out that she won't be 37 until November.

Outstanding. What sport did she play?

Softball. Unfortunately during Judy Favor's reign of terror. Makes me sensitive to coaching methods.

I can understand why. I'll bet you have some interesting insights.

I was thinking about the whiners on SN when Bush checked and we checked out. I will be the kind of fan I want to be. There was no mention of any sort of recognition last night and there was biology homework waiting for my student Shocker fan. Frankly, if any of you think I give a rat's ass how you feel about us leaving early, you're wrong.

Doesn't care how we feel, so he posts a snippy retort.

                                Classic message board irony.

                                Thanks for the chuckle.

Hope that extra 20 minutes of study time paid off for your kid.
