Did somebody punch somebody? I noticed Marshall was very upset. My assumption was over the apparent SIU plan to head-hunt Baker the entire game. They weren't called for any of it.

Kind of the last straw for me on the "like Barry Hinson" front. They break up boxing matches for a lot of the crap they were doing to Baker off the ball last night.

I thought they did near the end of the first half recently at Koch where we screwed on not getting a foul and then didnt get the ball. I thought that was in the first half.

Smithpeters popped Ron in the face. Replay showed it. Didn't look even close to intentional.

Yeah, I know they reviewed that one earlier. The other stuff off the ball was definitely intentional though.

Luckily, they were too busy beating up Ron, and the post players destroyed them.

Saturday is the game I worry about. Those sonsabitches are dirty to the core. From the head coach on down.

When Hinson teams are outmatched by an opponent I've notice he coaches them to be as physical as the refs will allow. Any loose ball is a scrum. Off ball movement will have them in contact with the player they are guarding.

It has lead to some really really physical games in the past. To the point where I've questioned if a fight was going to break out.

Conner has played 264 minutes this year and has THREE turnovers. That's an average of 88 minutes of play time in between Turnovers. He has not turned the ball over since the Drake game at the start of the conference season. That puts him at ~179 minutes straight without a turnover.
He has an amazing 6-1, assist to turnover ratio for the year.

I love it when the crowd sings with the band BUT when that happens I wish the band would revise the ending of the anthem. All the horns blaring away sounds great when it is just instrumental, but when the vocals gets added to it, the crowd doesn't know how to end the anthem. Makes for a very sloppy ending.

You seriously didn't get that?? Your Burrahometer is need of immediate attention. That was 1000% REGULAR Barry sarcasm.

I get that Baker has punked their asses for 4 years but the threats of physical violence on a player playing basketball? That's pond scum.

                          • In the last four games, Rashard's stats are as follows:
                            12-19, 1-2 and 3-8.
Last night, he drove the baseline and put the ball in the hole. He was called for a foul. The call was sketchy at best.

Not connected to the above, Connor's stats in the last four games are as follows:
                            9-26, 3-14 and 7-7.

                              Is that 2pt M/A, 3pt and FT?

Kelly has looked much more comfortable driving the ball. That opens up a lot for us if he can do it consistently.
