I doubt we ever see those two together for more than a minute or two, if ever. Not even sure why that would be a good thing.

Shaq, man I love seeing his development this year. He's using his strength to get position and demand the ball. His more consistent play has been huge for us - I hope he can get to the point where he's playing for longer periods - that along with Grady getting back into form will help our inside/outside balance and improve our FG% across the board. Also, the past few weeks reminded me of something we saw a little bit last year: Shaq is a surprisingly good passer. Seems like once a game he makes a great pass from the high post to someone for a great look. I know it doesn't happen a lot, but it's there, and that ability along with a nice natural touch (love the 10 foot bank shots) remind me that he has real bball skills to go along with unusual physical traits.

JRS will continue to be what he is right now - a role player. I will grant he has elevated from being just a mopup minutes guy in blowouts (@HockeyShock: and I named him "victory cigar" and Zach Bush is "cognac") to a reliable spot minutes PG when he isn't overwhelmed athletically. Being able to have him come in and, so long as he stays within his capabilities, spell FVV for a few minutes or protect FVV's foul situation if he picks up 2 in the first half is very valuable. But being "the" guy? If that came to be, my guess is something will have gone very awry.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

I doubt JRS will start but I wouldn't be surprised to see him first off the bench in the backcourt.
He will be a senior with pretty good ball handling skills, a nice outside shot, and understanding
of what GM expects. Its the latter that could make him GM's choice for more minutes.

Again, our inside game has to be established first and foremost in as many games as possible. The rest will then fall in place. The least of my worries is the shooting of FVV, Baker, and CF. They can and will come through way more than not. Brown and MM will just keep getting better too.
This Shocker team has Not reached their potential this Season due to injuries. Now that everybody is rockin except Shamet, Marshall has plenty of time to refine this team to what he wants. He is one of the best at doing this. If we had no injuries this Season, we would be much better than 7-5 and the best is yet to come. Shamet is for real and only time will tell whether he can get healthy and back in the groove this Season and we Know he wants to do just that.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

EW never does and is one of many reasons HCGM will always have him on the floor when the outcome has yet to be decided.
