Game day #9 has to be the biggest test so far. And a most needed win. Shox will pull it out and revenge last years loss. I expect another close game.

Utah will shoot better than America's Team from the other night. They're obviously better coached and have a more polished inside game. Turnovers will again be a big key in this one. Ball swipes and solid defense must happen. Hopefully, we get a well officiated game like Wednesday. Stoppages absolutely kill the flow to the game, not to mention our free throw shooting has been shaky lately. I expect that to get better. The shooting percentages are the scariest things of all. We've had a good sample size of games and we aren't making a lot of shots. We've played some good defensive teams but we've also missed our fair share of wide open looks and point blank layups. Either it'll improve or we're just gonna have to muck things up. We keep saying guys need to step up and the three-point shooting is gonna come around, but eek. It's taking it's sweet time. Baker and FVV need to get closer looks. They're both good enough to hit 25 footers but they settle for those a lot.

All that said, I think we bring it today. Crowd needs to be loud. It won't be Koch loud but the extra 5,000 will help. I think we'll bring the tenacious D again. We need this win badly. BADLY for at-large purposes. I think we do. Similar margin to Wednesday night against America's team.

I'm not overly concerned about the shooting percentage since we've been playing two seniors and the second team in most games.
