The general media tone has been that Wisconsin is struggling (though for good reason). Lots of ADs and booster are extremely "what have you done for me lately" and prefer splash hires rather than smart hires. So all those things you just ranted about are the things I was trying to point out might be driving the ship in this hiring process there. Not at all agreeing its right. Its just the nature of Power 5 schools it seems. Its the same reason coaches get canned after 2 or 3 years even though they don't even have a chance to actually build anything with their own recruits.
My bad. I took your "If they continue to struggle" as a comment that you believed they were struggling. I see your point. And yes everyone that says they are is wildly off base.

Lotta winnable Valley games today. MVC team is favored at least by a small amount in all of them. Every little bit helps. All games on ESPN3 if you are a glutton for punishment and like to watch the action as these teams inevitably fail to meet expectations and let you down.
Loyola -8 hosting Cleveland State
Illinois State at UIC (Ill-Chicago) +8.5
Missouri St -1.5 hosting Oral Roberts
Indiana State playing Ill-Springfield, a D-2 I presume
Might as well grab a case of nice beer to ease the pain as we drop every one of these :)

I noticed St. John broke Heights' consecutive win record over the weekend and it got me thinking about if he was playing or redshirting at KSU. He's playing, a lot, and playing very well.
Averaging 25 minutes, nearly 50% from the field, 40% from 3, 71% from the line, 3rd leading scorer at 11.3 and 5.6 boards and more steals (8) and assists (9) than turnovers (7).
Well done young man.

Utah up 34 on Savanah State early in the 2nd half.
St. Louis down 13 to Tennessee-Martin at halftime.
Loyola up 1 on Cleveland State at halftime.
Missouri States 23 point halftime lead over ORU down to 16. Didn't MSU lose a big second half lead to someone else a couple of years ago.
Nebraska-Omaha up 20 with 8 to go. Jake White with 16 so far.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
