I like the scrimmage a lot better than the contests. One thing you gotta remember when watching the scrimmage. They're just playin' ball. What you see there might not fit as well into a game when it's more important to carry out an assignment than to just play.

Isn't Shocker Madness usually on a weeknight? I really wish they would do it on a weekend now that I'm an out of towner :(

An astute question for sure. I always love the 3-point shooting contest along with the dunk contest. Any thoughts on who will win these events. Baker or Frankamp maybe on the 3's but the dunk contest is up for grabs and speculation.

How many are usually in the 3-pt contest? I'd also like to see Brown and McDuffie in it.

I would just hope that they set up specific rules for each of these contests beforehand. Too often it seems like they are set up on the fly with minimal organization. I know it's all for fun but let's not be sloppy.
