Those that watched the Pan Am games, but not the WUG got something of an idea about the International game/players. The difference is that in the WUG, the opposing teams were also made up of college kids from other countries (Big Mock from Evansville played for his country), while the Pan Am games teams were made up mostly of professionals from the other countries (mostly their Olympic teams minus a majority of their NBA talent, which the US also did not use).

      Ii...

I attended the final four game and I attended the KU GAME. both were events I never thought I would see. I voted for the KU game because we won and my tears were tears of joy. At the final four I shed a tear in pride and sadness....but I don't get the same warm and tingly feeling I get when I re-live that KU Game😹😂😅.....I voted for HCGM over the other GREAT Coaches because he did what Coach Snyder did for k-state Football.......a stunning return to national prominence.

KState did not have an earlier "national prominence" to return to. Just sayin'.

I voted for the Gonzaga game because I don't think the rest happens without that win. That was the announcement to the world that not only are we back, we're here to stay.

And while I doubt there are more than a few fans that harbor anywhere close to the level of distaste for ALL that is ku that I have (and live/lived), it wasn't even a contest for me. Did I enjoy the round of 32 game earlier this year? Of course. I still do. Was it that big a deal? Not at all when compared to the other options.

After we beat Ohio State I ran outside and screamed like a little girl.

After we beat KU I smiled.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I thought #4 was poorly worded - in particular I didn't like any of the options:

              4. Guard Conner Frankamp will become eligible to play basketball for Wichita State before the Dec. 12 game against Utah at Intrust Bank Arena. Will Frankamp:
              - Become a starter and key factor for the Shockers in 2015-16 and beyond
              - Play a role off the bench
              - Struggle for playing time and productivity

I was somewhat mixed on this. Ron won't play the 3 outside of limited doses of crunch time when we need as many scorers and ball handlers on the floor as possible (Ron actually played the 4 late in the game against Ohio State for this very reason). Therefore, Conner isn't starting this year but instead will play a role off the bench. That said, I do think he will be a key factor this season and obviously beyond. So, I used the first answer but feel the real answer is somewhere in the middle of choices 1 and 2.

I thought the same thing. He could play a role off the bench this year, then be a starter and key factor beyond. That would have been my answer.
