He did say 8 ppt... Maybe that means 8 points per tournament? 8 points per third (of the season)? 8 points per turnover by Fvv?

If big Bush stays, 8 might very well be his career high.

Dang, I hope you're wrong! At any rate, I think our front line will be improved from last year and hopefully will be good enough to get us to a F4.

One less today, Bryant, #22 on ESPN 100 committed to Indy. Mizzu tried get him by hiring his HS coach. He is 6 10 with 7 3 wing span. He looks awesome on tape but don't they all.

Indy - Indiana (sorry didn't think about that one right off).

These big man athletic projects in our program recently have underperformed IMO because each didn't begin playing competitive BB till their early-mid teens. BB is a game of feel and nuances that takes years to understand and execute. It is not their fault. The kids themselves are awesome. It's just a bad experiment I hope the staff has learned from.

Yes, I like Nurger's upside. SM in the NBA? Not unless he grows 2-3 inches. Now, RN may
not pan out as I expect but I watched him closely this season as I wanted him to succeed.
Most noticed from the get go he can shoot from the perimeter. I think that is a given. He rarely
posted up, wasn't asked to in our offense, but the few times he did he showed remarkably good
moves right AND left with the left hand. He has taken a lot of criticism defensively but I thought
he moved his feet pretty darn well for his size and was charged with a lot of tickytac fouls. If
he gains 15-20 pounds of muscle I think you are going to see a very good post up player by
mid season next year and an improved defensive player. For BW to be a valuable asset all he
needs to do is add 10-15 pounds of muscle and a little more aggressiveness. I think we will
be pretty well set at center but, of course, if a 4/5 star center is available we should certainly
                  grab him.

All 3 of them have certain good points. Each of them could improve. Expecting 3 out of 3 to improve is asking a lot.

                    • I think Gregg has much more faith in Bush than most SN posters.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

I think many things that don't come to pass...you're probably correct though. I think Bush will be a 10-22 minute guy. 3 PPP/4rpg and many good screens.

                        • If he can play some D and we get improvement out of the others, that may be enough. We need him for some good post D, set some screens, and rebound. The rest is lagniappe.

That is a wide range of minutes. Based on his points per minute, at 22 minutes, he is at 4 points and 5.5 rebounds. at 10 minutes, only1.8 and 2.5

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I think Nurger's issue was that he allowed others to post him up too far under the basket, and when they caught it down there he couldn't stop them w/o fouling. He was also out of position on help d too often, closed out too slow, and boxed out poorly.

That's a lot of required improvement and I don't think he makes the leap until he is an upperclassmen.

He certainly gave no indication that he has a point guard mentality. That was disappointing and, considering he is a coach's son, a little surprising to me.
He did not bother to hunt. He crossed midcourt and fired away.
