Big 12 Performance In The NCAA Tournament Over The Last Decade

Someone asked about this in another thread, so I went through the last decade and did some research.

To summarize, it looks like the Big 12 as a whole was very close to seed expectations from 2005-2012. They might have even been slight over performers during that time. However, the last 2 seasons (plus the first round this year) have been pretty poor. I think the failures of the past 24 months are fresh in people's minds and tend to cause some people to exaggerate claims of the Big 12 being overrated year in and year out. The most recent performances have been below expectations, but the numbers suggest that the Big 12 has performed fairly close to expectations over the last decade.
