No. He was there for the game AND here prior for practice. Holly Rowe was here as well, but I don't think they did a live look in from gameday. Actually, she interviewed him during the game iirc. The game is on YouTube if anyone likes to relive history :)

That's one of my concerns should we get Gameday here; will our fans (students) come out before and after our game during the live and taping sessions? And if they do, please, please give the WSU Volleyball players front row and center at all sessions. If they're in town, I'm also OK with Women's Basketball, Women's Softball, Women's Tennis, Women's Bowling, Women's Golf, Women's Rowing, Women's T&F and Women's Tiddlywinks right behind the volleyball team. I don't ask for much. :)

I would be willing to bet that the student athletes would represent very well. The rest of the student body might be a serious question mark.

We've had a class of students leading the charge over the last year or so, maybe they can be used to help get students there? It's also close enough to tipoff that I'd show up 90 minutes earlier to see the show, etc. in a heartbeat. It's going to be a once in a lifetime type deal (if it happens), so I would think we'd have a decent crowd there since we play two hours after they go dark.

And when we win, I can't imagine how incredible an atmosphere that would be for them to do a follow up show leading in to the game in Lawrence.

Agreed. I don't think that it will be an issue. But if they decide to split, and if that just means that they host elsewhere with quick lookins on our students and no real presence, instead of a 50/50 split, I would encourage Eric Sexton to say no thanks. We should not be taking anyone's scraps.

And no Mark Adams for freaking sakes. He's alright, but we want one of their highest profile crews. That's half of the appeal of getting game day.

I've always wanted to see Bilas call one of our games, so this is a let down. Someone needs to tell Adams to put a muzzle on the whole play angry points thing as well as the MVC cheerleading. It's embarrassing.

Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman always call the game at the host site. So if we don't get them, we aren't the host site. Or at the very least, the main host site.
