I'm not saying I'm perfect, but there are ramifications for mistakes. Sometimes those ramifications involve losing your job, scholarships, reputation, etc. It's not fair and I'm not saying I'm better, but that's life.

By the grace of God I didn't get a DUI in college, though I deserved many. I thankful I didn't hurt anyone.

No way he gets kicked off the team for a first offense. He's too talented and means too much. He's also young and when we are young and stupid we make mistakes. He'll be on a tight leash from here on out though. I'm sure any second offense will mean dismissal.

1. Yes. In a car even.

2. Yes, but not if I have to drive. I did do this when I was younger and stupid though. I easily could have been caught and it easily could've made my life a heck of a lot more difficult.

He'll plead and enter a diversionary program for a year. He'll keep his nose clean for that period. He'll be suspended for the first two games when he becomes eligible for the Shox but GM will make it clear that if he F's up again, (even arrives late to practice, he gone).

I haven't. Really. Not even close.

I'm not a tea-toteler, just have never felt the need to artificially enhance myself in order to "have fun." The need to drink to excess in one of the lamest inclinations a person can have.

Adrenaline works a lot better, and it is free.


EDIT: On topic: Looks like Frankanbeans really would have been a better fit at Creighton after all. For freaks sake those tools actually discuss on their forum how to best avoid DUI enforcement after a night "having fun" at the bars.

We DON'T need this distraction, especially from a non-contributor who is actually not even a member of the team.
