    Tier 1: The Big 5

Tier 2: MWC, AAC, BE, Atl-10

The Valley and WCC is not as highly thought of by the media in that the number of more highly thought of schools are fewer, in the case of the Valley, only one. Right or wrong, Dayton , VCU, Richmond, St. Joe's, Mass, maybe even St. Louis, George Mason, and Davidson, are considered stronger as a unit than the balance of the Valley or the balance of the WCC minus the Zags and BYU.

The balance of the MVC is now more closely thought of like the Horizon, C-USA, Mid-American and so forth.

I'm loving these media outlets acknowledging WSU's new status as an elite program.
