I'm not going to post the link, because at this point I don't want to do anything to help their visit count, but I found it interesting that a 2-win week against admittedly bad competition, with an average MoV of 28.5pts earned WSU a 10-spot drop in Andy Katz's power rankings.
I wonder if he was denied an interview or something. Geezpete. He also dropped UNI 5 spots, so I suppose he's really just laying the groundwork for only having to keep 1 team in after the matchup this weekend.
For your amusement I will include that he has the likes of Kstate, Miami, Providence, and Butler ranked ahead of the Shox.

They are so used to making assumptions without watching the games or without taking our scheduling issues into account that I honestly don't think that they know how to handle us. It's funny, because most of the time their ignorance is self inflicted. If every nationally relevant sportswriter didn't insist on watching the exact same set of games every weekend, then maybe they wouldn't suck so much at their jobs.

Does KState get a pass now for dropping turds at home to Texas Southern and at Long Beach State? Hmm, interesting.
What I'm concluding is that Katz is just an enormous, ignorant dick.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Re: WSU moving up, he says "trying not to let them. Not fair beating up on bad teams"
So, at least he doesn't have an hidden agenda, it's right out in the open. When you're saying things publicly like "trying not to let them" you probably should no longer have voting rights.
Interesting that he is not OK with WSU's schedule, but is quite happy with an Indiana team that did not play a road game until conference season (KenPom NCSOS 319).
Indiana NCSOS rank #322. WSU NCSOS rank #30. Watch the damn B1G will get six or seven teams into the dance, and they'll be lucky if one team ( Whiskey) makes it past the second round."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
