Nick played an important role for the Shockers that resulted in a Final 4 and an undefeated season. His athletic talent was as good as anyone, he was a juco AA, and he was highly recruited (he could have gone almost anywhere he wanted). Without players like Nick who are willing to take on a lesser role than they expect when they are recruited, the Shockers would not be a national program. Nick, when Baker was hurt in 2012-2013, stepped up, filled in (he won some games for us), and then was willing to step back when Baker recovered to a lesser roll again during the NCAA run to the Final 4. Nick's a winner and I hope that he gets to achieve at least some of his dreams in the NBA.Comment
