Not only has this fan base latched on to the War Chant (Which sounds unbelievable on TV), you also helped debut a brand new song that we didn't add to the books until tournament time. And it's a hit! Shocker Nation, we love you and this experience wouldn't nearly be as awesome without you. Thank you for your support. We love playing for you and our undefeated team!

    Go Team! GO SHOX!!!
    The band, like the team, is fantastic. I can barely play I-tunes but I have many in my family that are musically inclined so I have learned to appreciate the talent. Anymore I show up early for the games not to see our team warmup, but to listen to the band. It's almost sad when another band plays one of "our" songs, there's such a stark contrast and that's not to diminish other bands, it's just the way it is.

    I really do wish ShockerSound would compile their work, preferably for sale but if they want to give it away, I won't complain. A recording of my personal favorite, The Impressions That I Get.

    You guys are great...thanks for making the experience even better than it already has been.

      Classic pep band song.

        I second that, if fans could get a recording of the Shocker Sound would be amazing. I turned a bunch of Shocker Sound youtube videos into mp3s so I can listen to them in the car on the way to the game, but the quality is lacking. Would LOVE an official recording and think it would sell really well!
        I just want to stand on land...

        @rjl:
        If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a Creighton fan, I think I'd shoot the Creighton fan twice.

          The students, the band, the fans the team have all been great. The band sporting new instruments and sharp polo's plus new tunes is really a shining star for the U. I do like their version of Hey Pachuco.

            Some mp3s I have found:

            Old School (70s):

            Newer (80s):

            Couple years ago (from an early practice session, so obviously not same quality):

            I'm not sure if the band has legal restrictions on selling their music, but I'd guess that they aren't allowed to profit off of arrangements they do not own (ie, "Impressions That I Get"). Songs like the fight song, or stuff they've arranged themselves like "Neck" (maybe "War") probably could go on an album.
