ISUb fans seem to think the pressure is on the Shockers.

I guess they don't realize the Trees NEED to win to make it in the tourney.

ISUb has been a disappointment honestly. Odum has had a down year.

We have zero pressure. We're going to the NCAA's as a 1 seed. Every time somebody says WSU has pressure on them, they school their opponent by 25.

I just love seeing these opposing fan bases talk. Friday it was EU fans. Ballentine was gonna score 50 and carry them to victory. Today, MSU was going to carry their confidence and swagger and seek revenge for a game they let slip away in Springfield. And Lusk was tired of hearing about WSU and that was going to carry them. Now Sycamore fans have new-found confidence that they can ignore everything WSU has done and think Odum is going to ride the wave to victory.

Indiana State had to eek out a victory over SIU. They weren't really burning the nets against the Salukis.

It's one thing to hope for victory when you're 1 win away from the NCAA's. It's another to completely ignore the fact of what your opponent is doing/has done. But whatever. About to disappoint another fan base for the 34th time this year.

Ha! There was quite a disparity between the fan groups today, which I suspect will be even more in the Shockers' favor tomorrow. 23 and 10, 23 and 10!

Indiana State would seem to be the team best equipped to at least give the Shocks a game. But if we continue to play defense the way we have so far in this tournament I really, really like our prospects of going 3-0 in St. Louis and setting another program 1st.

They are absolutely correct. Prior to the game "33" represents accurately how many we have won. "And one" represents accurately the additional win, come approximately 3:00 pm. So, I don't see any issue with the incredibly insightful ISUB fans.

Shox are playing the best ball they've played all year. They're playing better than the team that got to a national #2 ranking and held it for many weeks. I think Florida could give the Shox a serious challenge. I don't think the Trees are relatively close to the Gators.

Confidence is a fragile thing. Over-confidence can be a killer. You Shockers have a good, no a great team, but it is just one game for the Dance ticket. I'll be rooting for my guys obviously but hoping for an injury free game on both sides. I don't expect our guys to just mail in the score tomorrow.

I think that you will find that while over-confidence runs rampant thru the fan base the team and coaching staff have a different view of things.

One game at a time and not taking anyone for granted.
