Its hard to be too critical with this team. They are 22-0. Whatever we think went wrong, Marshall already knows.

What is painfully clear is that players that we thought would improve, have not.

I only have hope for 1 to improve. The depth next year is not playing on this years team.

but don't forget, wiggins airball was the key that turned the tide back to loyola's favor. wessell and wiggins are underperforming. i'm at a loss for that one.

There is no way you can predict that both W's (Wiggins and Wessel) are going to totally tank the year. I'm certain the coaching expectations matched the fans' expectations that both Wiggins and Wessel were due for breakout years.

They've both become minute-eaters. This is the first quality Marshall team I've seen where there are 4 players who probably need to get 30+ minutes in most games.

Wessel went from a starter to looking like a walk-on at times. He has just never returned to form, since the injury. I really do feel for him.

I don't know if they are ready to help. From what the coach has said, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next year.

I would rather win ugly than lose period. Marshall will pinpoint the obvious issues tonight and correct them. Look for us to play for 35 minutes quite well versus Evansville. I feel it in my ole bones. i liked FVV's 9 assists and we rebounded like rock stars. Cle had a nice game. The last couple of games we have made too many turnovers.

Listening to the Shocker Locker Room Show and I miss the assistant's on the show and poor Ted. How he maintains his sanity putting up with the kooks and drunks is a mystery to me.

Not sure how a PF/C would have improved our depth much. We've already got three guys filling that role. That's the one position we do have depth at.

Wasn't Holland ridiculously tiny and underweight? He probably would give better backup minutes than JRS, but enough to burn a year of eligibility?

We lost a player that we thought was going to be a major part of our guard depth to a freak medical condition, and two of the guys who were expected to be major parts of our depth have regressed offensively. And we're 22-0.

Went out to Koch arena tonight thinking I was going to a men's basketball game and they played a horror movie. Nightmare on Hillside Street.

On a positive note it did whet my appetite to watch the Shocker Women kick ass on Friday night.
