Gregg made a comment about MSU on a hotmike and now you're seeing all the KU fans trying to pile on and it even actually outing some of the pretenders on shocker net.

One of the things I hate about message boards is anytime someone disagrees a "fight is being picked". Come on now. Disagreements happen and everyone should accept it.

so why attack me as a pretender? Excuse my dumbass, I defined that as a program, we should own our success, apologize to no one for that success, take on all comers & be gracious in success. You want to attack the fan base. You've taken on me personally & called out "pretenders".
I am a WSU graduate, a season ticket holder of over 10 years, my grandpa more than 50 years. My $, though fairly insignificant helped build the program. I dont mind the winning ways of late.

Love it! We should have a chip on our shoulder. We're 21-0, coming off of a Final 4. I mean, for ffs, Syracuse before Saturday had a SOS lower then ours, and they don't have to hear any of this crap. I'm glad Marshall has this chip, and it will only bring even more attention to our program. To all the doubters, bring it. I'm prepared to eat crow if we don't back it up. They all are praying we don't. What in the world would they say if we're 38-0 or even 37-1 in the our 2nd straight Final Four? And even worse, we return 3 or 4 starters.

The problem is the reference to "the mighty Spartans" after they took a hit. You don't talk trash on someone when they just took a hit.

While no one cares that much what other schools' fans think, Izzo is a guy Marshall might want to call to ask for a game. WSU hasn't "arrived" yet. We're knocking on the door, but we're still on the outside looking in.

We're nowhere near what Butler did. Now Butler is 10-9 overall and 1-7 in league play.

I wouldn't say they took a hit - they merely lost a game. These people can take it. This is not a big deal. Just imagine all the "I told you so's" when we eventually lose a game. We will have a few on here crying about comments made by others - it doesn't really matter.
