This is Myron Medcalf reporting from Jerry World where Wichita State has been handed the National Championship trophy. You know folks, these guys had an easy schedule, easy Valley tournament; I mean, they won each game by over 20 points, even a Valley team could win that tournament. Wait, I mean any team could win that tournament. Damn! Never mind. Then they're given a #1 seed; I smell money being paid somewhere. Doesn't that Coke guy live in Wichita? He paid for the 1 seed! Talk about an easy bracket; KU's freshmen didn't even play; they had to go to an NBA camp. And Florida for the championship game? C'mon!!! They were the weakest #1 team in history. So the Shockers were a little pissed off; huh? angry? Whatever. They didn't have to wear Gottlieb's face on the backside of their shorts. And beating the Gators by 25? I smell a buyout by that Coca Cola guy again. Alright, give them the damn trophy and lets get back to normal next year. Oh, coach Izzthatso? did you lose again? Sorry man!

Kevin Harlan was on the Border Patrol this morning. Discussed the Shox in the last couple minutes. He said the Shox are THE story in college basketball this year. Said our team chemistry is off the charts.

I played H.S ball with Fred's step dad Joe. I also played against his real dad big Fred. Rockford, IL is a place where many young men get caught up in a life of crime. I'm hoping that FVV can be a beacon of light for some of them. Joe and the whole Van Vleet family have done a great job raising Fred. I think I was the first person on this board to introduce FVV to many of you. Check my past posts, this kid is a flat out winner. I want to thank shocker nation for showing him so much love...
