I wonder if either of these guys, as Gregg said, have ever met Gregg.

I'll say once again that until I met Gregg one on one, I did not"like" him as a person. But, first impressions from afar can be deceiving.

It appears that Kent Babb did an interview with 3G (albeit a phone interview most likely). Both these guys have ties to South Carolina, so they probably have crossed paths with 3G at some point.

Certainly some of he most ignorant and uninformed BS I have had the displeasure or reading. I can see why he moved out of the Midwest where you have to have integrity and common sense to survive.

I just listened to Kevin Kietzman on WHB 810 say WSU shouldn't really want to play Kansas because after the Shox lose 16 in a row everybody will be bored with it and pay no attention. He went on that most of their non con teams were better than WSU and intimated that it's obvious KU would be undefeated with the Shox schedule. I got the impression he puts WSU in the same category as Emporia State or somebody. How's that for media love.

Heard it also. That's not exactly what was said. The group discussion was about the tourney. There was agreement that it would be great to see the two teams play each other and if they did it would likely be an Elite 8 or Final Four match up. They talked about the 81game in New Orleans as a reason why KU doesn't want to play WSU. Danny Klinkscale agreed. Said he was there/remembers. Kevin said nobody would want to see the ttwo teams every year for the reason you stated and that ended the segment. Hyperbole on his part. I don't think others necessarily agree(d) with him, but there no time for a response. On balance, the part of the discussion I heard was favorable to WSU, but I did not hear it all. It was primarily focused on a Bill Self news conference that was dominated by questions about the Shocker's.

Shocker notes: Media begin descending on Roundhouse

The media pack chronicling Wichita State's unbeaten basketball season will hit another level this weekend.

Marshall did an interview with CNN on Thursday, as well as Yahoo! radio and the Washington Post. A television crew is doing a story on the Wiggins family, including WSU senior Nick Wiggins, for an NCAA Tournament feature.

ESPN’s Bob Knight will attend Friday’s practice and Saturday’s game against Missouri State. He will interview Marshall for ESPN’s coverage on Saturday during its college basketball programs. ESPN’s crew for the game will consist of Holly Rowe, Rich Hollenberg, Mark Adams, Sean Farnam and Holly Rowe.
